Susie works in Brisbane but her company has an office in Sydney, where she regularly has meetings.

Even though she had never lost anything before, Susie saw the value in the Return Service and bought a key ring that she attached to her car keys.  She didn’t even know that keys cost around $350 on average to replace, not to mention the hassle, and it is unlikely now that she will ever find this out.  She registered her keyring and attached it to her keys.

A few months later, on a cold and rainy Friday morning in Brisbane, the only thing standing between her and a long weekend on the Gold Coast was a short meeting in Sydney.

Running late and a little bit stressed (‘cause she hit the snooze button one too many times), she jumped in her car and headed for the airport.

It wasn’t until she arrived at the Sydney office, and got a call from Safe & Found that she even realised she’d lost her keys.  In the departure lounge.  In Brisbane!

There’s a happy ending to this story because Safe & Found organised a secure place for her to pick up her keys when she landed again in Brisbane.

As she breathed a huge sigh of relief, her mind raced with thoughts of what might have been.  Without her Safe and Found key ring, her weekend on The Goldie could have been spent in the Brisbane Airport car park, calling locksmiths, changing locks, and spending a fortune on having keys remade (the electronic beeper for her car alone costs hundreds of dollars to replace).

Safely behind the wheel of her car, she couldn’t believe how easy it had all been.  Safe & Found checked that she had her keys and even sent the finder a nice bottle of wine to say thanks.

Now every time she pulls out her keys Susie is reminded of her great weekend in The Goldie rather than what might have been.
